LOVE: A Series
As a word, “Love” is an iceberg floating in a cold ocean of longing. It seems simple enough at first, a basic definition that is easily understood. Every toddler loves their mother. But as we grow older, the word becomes convoluted with subtleties. We want is a simple, black-and-white entity, but what we get is a creature that is greater than the sum of its parts. It is a made of tiny little bits, like organic cells, that piece together something wonderful. But there are also limits, perceived and real, that can tear it all apart.
This series attempts to examine those complexities.
